Sandbox evasion

Overview

Anti-virus sandboxing is a security technique that isolates a suspicious file or program in a safe environment called a sandbox. The sandbox is a virtual environment that simulates a real computer system without allowing the suspicious file or program to interact with the real system. This allows anti-virus software to test and analyze the behavior of the file or program in a controlled environment to determine if it's harmful or not.

If the file or program is determined to be malicious, it can be safely removed without causing harm to the actual computer system. This is an important tool in the fight against viruses and malware because it allows security experts to identify and respond to new threats quickly and safely.
